SWF Radar

(Announcement) SWF Radar will INDEED be updated beyond the middle of next month (updated)

Posted by Editor on September 09, 2008 at 07:31 AM

UPDATE (Oct 8, 2008): This site will indeed be updated beyond the middle of October. Please ignore what is written below. (The original title of this post was “SWF Radar will no longer be updated beyond the middle of next month.”)

Please note that from around the middle of next month (October 2008) I shall stop updating SWF Radar.

I launched the site in October 2007 with a spirit of adventure. Since then I have watched it establish a solid, growing base of repeat-visitors. Many of these visitors are from the world’s biggest and (considering what this site is about) most interesting financial firms and institutions.

It is, however, taking up an increasing amount of my time. So in order to continue, I’d have to put it on a commercial footing. Since I believe that this is not a realistic option, I’m going to stop posting next month.

After I stop updating it, SWF Radar will be kept online indefinitely as an archive of links.

I’ll sign off with a final post in October. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at editor@swfradar.com.

This was a very successful adventure, Christian. And also a very useful one. I always admired how you found that time to turn it on a non-profit basis. Good luck with your work and future projects. It was a pleasure reading your posts. KM

Gotta say, this is one of the best SWF news rss i’ve ever had. i found this site with great accuracy and timing of swf related issues, and that’s why my work has been partly depending on it. anyway, best wishes to ur future work. :)
