South Korea military fund could join KDB in Lehman deal

Thomson Reuters reports that, “South Korea’s military savings fund [the Military Mutual Aid Association (MMAA)] would consider joining Korea Development Bank in a bid for Lehman Brothers if KDB made such an offer, as now appears a good time for U.S. investments, the fund’s chairman said on Wednesday.”
If the Military Mutual Aid Association is serious about making high-profile investments in the US right now, I suggest that it might want consider shortening its name.
